Travel Series

This series is perhaps the most unpredictable — and certainly the most well-traveled. I call it The Travel Series.
These works are not born in a studio or from carefully planned ideas. They appear on airplanes, trains, in airports, in queues, in waiting rooms — in those strange spaces between “not here yet” and “almost there.” I have a small travel kit: a few tools, sheets of gray paper, and an inability to be bored.
I do not create these works because I have to. I create them because I genuinely enjoy the process itself — that moment when a few strokes suddenly become a gaze, an animal, a person, a cloud, flowers, or an entire story.
The series is constantly growing and is never complete. Some works quickly find a new home, and new ones take their place. Which means seeing exactly the same collection twice is almost impossible.
Here you may encounter animals and people, unexpected faces, still lifes, landscapes, emotions, memories, and fleeting observations. Sometimes it feels as though these subjects are traveling too, simply stopping by with me for a little while along the way.
